I ♥ Faces Challenge - Sweet Dreams

The challenge this week at I Heart Faces is Sweet Dreams. Since I rarely take pictures of my hubby sleeping I knew I wanted a picture of one of the kids. Then I remembered a picture of Isabelle and I when she was a newborn. She had just fallen asleep and I told her "Sweet Dreams Princess". I still say that to her to this day but now it's "Sweet Dreams Princess Belle", she loves that.

Fix-It Friday

This week at I Heart Faces we have a sweet little boy named Bennett. For whatever reason I love editing others' photos more than my own. Odd isn't it? I guess it's not that I don't like editing my photos, it's just that there are so many I don't know where to start. Fix-It Friday lets me do one and not have to worry about any others, that must be why I like it so much!

For my edit, I used curves to fix some of the colors. Then I added a few textures from the Florabella Texture collection and then went through the blending modes until I found what I liked.

I have been lucky enough to have three crazy-adorable kiddos to work with these last few Fridays. This week is a cute bugaboo with amazing eyes. I really wanted to make this picture as dreamy as possible. The innocence children exude is too much to make the picture too sharp. I know the picture looks blown-out and if I had more time I could try and fix that but I was happy with where it was and I have to get "A" ready for school, so here is my take on it and then below is the original.
